Known as the capital of the State of São Paulo's 8th regional administrative region, in Brazil, São José do Rio Preto, as it is also known, is proud to be the host of a number of country, cattle-breeding and agrobusiness events.

Interview With Alderman Eduardo Piacenti

BRF – It is known that you are always involved in supporting traditional country festivals in the State of São Paulo country side. Why so?

Piacenti - That's because of my desire to preserve the country culture which is also part of my history and life, such as church yard sales, dances, animal mounting and musical performances, which are the folk culture from the country and from our past, all of which will influence the youth.

BRF – Do you have a favorite festival at the time of giving your support?

Piacenti – Yes, I choose the most serious one, especially if it has a charity purpose. If it is a new festival, then I take into consideration the people who are organizing it.
